Pausing Shipping Charges Immediately

Hello, Everyone!

Based on the comments we received on yesterday's shipping update, it's clear to us that there are some potential discrepancies in some of the shipping charges you were quoted by Backerkit yesterday. We want you to know that we've paused all other operations so we can direct all of our focus on looking into this matter.

In the meantime, here's some important information you need to know:

1. No one has been charged for shipping yet, and we're pausing all shipping charges until we figure out what's going on. This means that you will not be charged for shipping on Friday as planned.

2. If you've been quoted a shipping charge that doesn't make sense, please email us at [email protected] and include your name, your pledge, and your quoted shipping cost.

3. Backerkit doesn't have enough information to let you know whether or not your charges are correct. Please reach out to us at the email address above if you have questions.

Again, we apologize for any upset or confusion this has caused. Know that we've heard all of your concerns and that we're doing the best that we can to get things straightened out. Again, we want to reiterate that we're pausing all shipping charges until we have a clearer picture of what's happening, and as soon as we know, we'll update you!

Shipping Invoices & a A Couple Videos

Hello Pooh Friends!

We are still in production so not too much to report on Pooh. However we did want to give everyone a heads-up that we will begin sending shipping invoices in the next 10 days.  We will be doing a small test-run on a select few backers to ensure everything is working smoothly before we send it out to everyone. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Limited Edition Earth, Moon, & Shadow Oracle Print

Bad news for us is good news for you! We did a very small print for a tarot conference we attended in Portland recently. However, the printer we use for this deck,  while impeccable in quality, is slower than molasses in snow (yes, I'm talking to you Ludo Cards Italy).  And so, the decks were not ready in time for the conference.  Which means our misfortune could be your gain because we will be offering them on our website at the end of October! This is a very limited edition print of only 111 copies. The deck has a new, slightly larger box which now fits the book (now in color). The artwork and cards remain the same, however they are borderless for this edition.  The decks STILL have not arrived but should be here at the end of October.  As soon as we receive them we will make them available on the website, first come, first serve.  They are $88 free shipping within the USA, $88+$11 shipping international.  We will announce the drop to those on our newsletter list first, so if you are interested, be sure you are signed for to receive newsletter updates on our Earth, Moon, & Shadow Series of Decks. Updated Prototypes are Here (Lots of Pictures!

Happy Friday Pooh Fans!

It's around 5am here in Baltimore as I write this update.  We are tirelessly preparing for the Northwest Tarot Symposium but we received the updated prototypes and wanted to send you all an update as soon as we had the pictures.  We are happy to say we are IN LOVE with the upgraded box we chose for the Christopher Robin Box set. There are a few minor tweaks we need to make to ensure the titles are centered properly everywhere.  However, overall it is gorgeous.  The decks themselves came out perfect and will have no further changes so as soon as we make these small tweaks to the this Christopher Robin Box we are ready to hit the big print button (metaphorically speaking)!

Unboxing Video

After we reviewed the prototype we immediately sent it over to a tarot YouTube collaborator and friend, Dustin of Modern Metaphysicae (who is a huge Pooh fan).  Dustin gave the Christopher Robin box set a review and took some professional video footage of the box that we could share with our backers and on social media. He turned the video around in less than 48 hours (thank you Dustin!)!  If you would like to watch the video unboxing and review, you can check it out below.

IMPORTANT Production Update

We had a meeting with our printer recently to go over all of the different pieces that needed to be produced within the campaign, and with the sheer number of backers that we have, it is going to take longer to get everything produced and shipped than we anticipated.  Production time is only half the battle, packaging and shipping 4000+ orders is the really challenge.  Please note that we now estimate that shipping will begin November 1st and should be completed by the end of November. That means our timeline is pushed out by about a month.  When we began this campaign we just had no idea how well it would do and production and shipping of this magnitude is turning out to be a much larger and lengthier process than we could have imagined. Fortunately, since we have little changes after this prototype, we should have no problem making sure everyone is in receipt of their items for before the December holidays for those that were planning this as a gift.

Just a reminder that our entire team, Serefina, Angel, Kat, and Elysiah, will be attending the Northwest Tarot Symposium in Portland, Oregon and will be out from September 28 - October 2nd.  We will continue to monitor emails and Kickstarter messages while we are there but it will be sporadic as we have a booth that we are managing at the symposium this year.  If you are in the Portland, Oregon area, come by our booth and check out some of our Wisdom of Pooh merch and meet the artist, Kat L. Amsel who will be onsite to sign Earth, Moon, & Shadow Oracle decks! We will also have giveaways and other artwork available.  While there is a fee to attend the symposium, entry into the Psychic Fair Marketplace (where our booth is located) is absolutely FREE! If you are in the area, come by and meet our team!

September Updates & Pics

Hello Pooh Tarot family!

This will be short (but lots of pictures!) as we will be sending another update in about 2 weeks with photos of the new prototypes.  However, since it's the begining of the month, I did want to give a brief update on where we are at.  Production on the coins and Pooh "The Fool" plushies have been completed.  They are now on their way to our printer who is also handling fulfillment.  The coins have also arrived and they are gorgeous!  

The second round of prototypes has been completed and we are told should arrive to us by September 13th.  As soon as they do, we will review everything and take a few photos to send out to you all.  

VISIT OUR BOOTH at NWTS! Rue & Vervain will have a booth at the Psychic Fair during the upcoming Northwest Tarot Symposium in Portland, Oregon from September 29 - October 1, 2023! Entry to the Psychic Fair is open to the public and does not require a ticket to the Symposium. We will be offering EXCLUSIVE items during the fair featuring Wisdom of Pooh Tarot artwork including Kat's latest piece, "Pooh’s First Tarot Reading"! We will have totes, notebooks, mugs, pencils, and more!

Our artist, Kat Amsel will also be onsite to sign items.  AND bring your Earth, Moon, & Shadow Oracle decks and get them signed for free!
